Scholarship Requirements:

*Must be a US resident

*High School Senior graduating in Spring 2011

*Must be pursuing a career in writing

*Essay, 500-750 words, answering “Why is life more interesting when you’re happy?”

*Application due no later than April 15, 2011

Award Specifications:

*One time $500 award

*Winner will be notified by mail by July 15, 2011

*Winner will be announced on this website

*Winning essay will be posted on this website

*Award will be sent directly to college or university in the winner’s name
